There is this young girl who would always be so excited to come home from school because she would watch her favorite show on the television. Her imagination would run free as if she was the princess in the show that she is watching, as if she could talk to the animals like the character in the show does, and as if she was the heroine that would always show up to save the day. To cut the story short, the shows that she used to watch became a huge part of her childhood and molded her into the person that she is today.
Fast forward to the future and she is an adult now. Sadly, she is no longer interested in watching the shows that she used to watch before, for as she grew older, her horizons became broader. She became more aware of what was revolving around her and even those that were a thousand miles away from her. All thanks to the present-day technology, she does not have trouble in her outputs for school. This young lady also became more knowledgeable about politics, global issues, and the very latest trends.
Communication is indeed the easiest nowadays, but to the young lady it is the hardest. She could talk to her friends through social media all day long but cannot express how she truly feels. She can only tell them how delighted she is but never how devastating her life is. She thought that it would stay forever that day until one day. It was just another normal day of her talking to her friends when suddenly, a message appeared. It was a message from a young man, who was one of her closest friends too. The young man would talk to her all night and day and the young lady would always be the happiest when reading the young man’s witty remarks. The young lady felt heard and did not feel the need to suppress how she truly feels. With the young man, she felt at ease. The young lady then felt something, was it love? How could it be love when she never even met the young guy in person? Is it truly possible to love someone even though you just met them through the internet?
Everything happened so fast, it was a rollercoaster ride for that young lady when she finally admitted to herself that she was truly smitten with that young guy. Then came the presents. They would send each other plenty of presents to prove how much they meant to each other. Each of them would be so delighted to receive a present from the other, for they know that no matter how small it is, it is still a sign of how much they care about one another.
More than a year has passed, destiny finally allowed them to meet each other in person. The first time that they saw each other, they instantly felt like what they had was right, it was the moment of their lives. At a very young age, they both understood what love is. Love may seem like a strong word, but it does not have any age requirement. Anyone is allowed to love and to feel loved, it just so happened that these young people found their way to each other. Since then, they knew nothing could separate them. They may be separated by a vast distance, but thanks to the components of Information Technology, they would never feel the absence of each other. How am I knowledgeable about this? Because I am this young lady and I know that our fire will keep on burning until the end of time.
